A friend I have know for a long time is an inspirational man doing an absolutely amazing Ministry in the border of Burma and Thailand. I am in awe of what he is doing. He left his beautiful family, stable life and ofcourse left his own country to do what he loves doing. He works amongst refugees, and sweats to give the best to these young people who are so driven to learn english and to receive education. I could go on and on about what he does, but I'd rather you have a look at his website ( He loves to stand behind and work without being noticed, however I struggled to display his work abit LOL) www.christforthailand.wordpress.com
Therefore, my friends and I have decided to take the challenge and trek the Great Wall of China ( 5 days trekking) towards the end of September 2013 to raise funds to contribute towards Luther's Ministry. Every penny you give counts. No set amounts, so just give whatever you can. Your donation will not be used for our travelling expenses, because every single penny we raise will go towards the Ministry . My friend lives by faith and we take the same leap of faith to do the trekking and raise enough money to support the Ministry allowing these unprivileged young people to move forward in life.
p.s. If anyone wants to join with us for trekking, you are most welcome....Shalom!

Thank you so much for your contribution! I agree with you - what matters is someone is sacrificing his time and energy to rescue refugees.

Besides religious belief, nobody should be still classified as "refugee" these days. Glad to know there are committed people willing to fight, help and change that. All the best of luck for your project
