Donations for Lung Fibrosis due to Autoimmune Disease through Immunotherapy Treatment

I was a teacher and have been diagnosed initially suffering from ‘idiopathic lungs fibrosis’ (both of the lower lobes) since 5 years ago. After painstakingly going trough various medical treatments from many renowned hospital with dozens of specialist doctors, unfortunately the disease did not subside but became worse. We have spend entirely our savings.

I had to quit my job as I was coughing heavily throughout the day (almost continuously) with short of breath and had to be glued on a wheels chair. I felt so restless, useless and depressed as I could only managed to walk for a few steps before coughing again. All people around me looked at me as though I could spread a deadly disease.

The doctors initially recommended lungs transplant (on both lungs) but later found out that I could not go for the procedure due to other underlying causes (initially unknown)

Fortunately with the support of my husband, daughter and son, I managed to have the courage to continue living despite of my condition. It was later early last year that another specialist realized after conducting various tests, I was diagnosed with ‘auto immune disease systemic sclerosis (tightening of skin) which apparently causes the lung fibrosis. The danger of ‘systemic sclerosis’ (scleroderma) which will eventually attack’s all my other internal organ which will be terminal. The present medication provided to me was just to slow down the process by suppressing my immune symptoms.

I am a non-alcoholic and non smoker. I have been informed and recommended to undergo ‘immunotherapy’ treatment and then to undergo extension of stem cells treatment. This immunotherapy treatment will be able to control my immune system and the stem cells will be able to regenerate my damaged lungs tissues and to recover my skin conditions.

As the total cost for the treatment is exorbitant (estimated from USD 100,000 to USD200,000) my family is not able to proceed with both the treatments and insurance does not cover these costs either
