Volunteering in a Nepalese Orphanage

Hello I'm Lulu,

I'm an 18-year-old college student and I've got the once in a lifetime opportunity to teach at an orphanage in Kathmandu, Nepal for 2 weeks in July. Nepal's experienced a lot of problems lately, the most recent being an earthquake and when disasters like that strike, children are usually the most affected so I want to help in any way I can. I'm so excited as I've wanted to volunteer abroad for some time now and didn't think I'll have the time or the opportunity to.

During my two week visit, my duties will be: helping prepare and serve dinner for the children, assisting them with their homework, helping teach them English and organising fun arts and crafts activities that they can enjoy. Whilst the children are at school, I'll also be expected to clean and tidy the centre, prepare meals as well as helping to feed any livestock and maintaining the garden area

Unfortunately, because this happened so soon I haven't got the funds needed for my trip so any help offered will be much appreciated.
