Lucy’s DTS

I am fundraising to participate in a Music Discipleship Training School (DTS) run by a non-profit Christian, missionary organisation called Youth With A Mission (YWAM). YWAM is a missionary training and Bible school; it's purpose is to teach students about God, His Word and His purposes for humankind: to "know God and to make Him known", as well as training up worship leaders for His glory! I am passionate about working as a missionary and worship leader, and this DTS will put me in contact with brilliant, spirit-filled teachers and provide opportunities for us to truly act on the great commission, and minister to our generation.

The DTS lasts 5 months and consists of a 2–3 month lecture/study phase followed by a 2–3 month evangelistic/service outreach in another locations, where we'll get hands-on missionary experience and training.

I will be taking my DTS in London in 2020. I've been working to raise as much of the £6000 that I need myself so have been working as an online TEFL teacher, painting and selling cards, and now doing a Fundraising 7-day 200-km cycle through big-5 territory in Botswana! I
