Campaign Story
My Mom, Liberty Pascual, has a tumor in her breast. She was diagnosed with stage 3b breast cancer.
Right now we are not in a good financial situation. It is just me and my mom after she lost her husband, my dad, to kidney failure a few years ago. We still managed to get by with our small store but had to close it during 2021 as a result of the pandemic. I myself (Her son) am unemployed. I am looking for a job but due to lack of experience and with health problems myself, am having trouble getting hired.
We rely on her pension which is around $120 a month, half of which goes to monthly utility bills, leaving us with very little for food and other necessities. Often times our relatives and friends provides us with assistance for some food and groceries, but we we were $400 in debt.
We appreciate any donation that you may give. It will go to Mom's treatment and medication, some will go to ensure she gets healthy meals and clean drinking water, and also to make sure she is comfortable and safe at home.

First session of chemo is successful
Update posted by Aldrin Pascual at 01:07 amFirst chemo session is successful and Mom is now back home resting. Right now we are just making sure she eats well, her surroundings are clean, and she's taking her prescribed meds. Her next chemo session will be in 21 days
Went to the ER yesterday

We had to go to the ER yesterday due to Mom almost passing out due to blood loss. The tumor bled out a lot so she had to stay for a while at the ER and was being observed by the doctor. She was cleared to go home around 4
Bone scan has been complete
Update posted by Aldrin Pascual at 12:38 pmMom is done undergoing a bone scan and other tests. Now we'll just need to show the results to her doctor so we can know when and how to proceed with chemo.
No chemo scheduled. Doctor wants more testing done
Update posted by Aldrin Pascual at 08:58 amWe were not able to get chemo scheduled yet. Doctor still wants some more tests done before we can proceed. For now, we're gonna look for hospitals that can do the following tests.
Chemo and Surgery
Update posted by Aldrin Pascual at 01:54 amWe managed to talk to a surgeon today. The doctor said that Mom would go 3 to 4 sessions of chemo before proceeding with surgery. The chemo will reduce the size of the tumor before operation. Once we are done with at least 3 sessions of chemo, we will return
We got the biopsy result. We are now gonna try to schedule for surgery

Update posted by Aldrin Pascual at 02:00 amMom went for an unscheduled check up today because the spot where she got the biopsy won't stop bleeding and it was making her nervous. Doctor said it was expected and it's fine. Doctor also said she shouldn't worry but it will be ideal if she gets surgery either this
Biopsy completed

Mom has completed her biopsy and we will now be waiting for the result. Estimated time is around Jan. 12
Biopsy schedule was moved to Dec. 27

Mom's biopsy was moved to next Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2022 because Mom's original doctor is on holiday leave. The doctor that is temporarily there did take a look at mom but they had a talk and the doctor said it will be much better if her original doctor is the. . . . .
