Low tech communication aids clinic

We are a not-for-profit communication aid centre which supports communication and learning needs of children and adults who need Alternative and Augmentative Communication(AAC) and Assistive Technology (AT).

Communication Aids can be complex and very costly so we would like to set  up  local community clinics to design and produce  low tech communication aid boards and books. These  will be tailored to the individual's specific need. We would make these books with the individual and/or their parents/carers.

We are fundraising in order to purchase the equipment and support necessary to produce these much needed resources.   

This project will benefit many people in local communities in their social and educational lives, they will become more  included in everyday society.
