Would you rather live in a depressing dormitory-styled low income apartment complex or a vibrant Eco-Village?
Valentine International LLC, a USA Wyoming based LLC, consults and designs Eco-Villages like the rendering by their architect Kyle Hanover shown here.
Hugh Simpson, a former Post Newsweek TV Group investigative reporter, has had a love for domes since studying two years with the right hand man to 20th century futurist Buckminster "Bucky" Fuller, Marshall Thurber.
In 2010, Hugh heard of the dodecahedron dome and went to learn how to build it by his mentor Rob.
The dodecahedron dome shape is the strongest on Planet Earth.
It is designed to withstand Category 5 hurricanes, tornadoes and mid-level Richter scale earthquakes. It requires no high end maintenance as it has no gutters or soffits. It is also a "heat sink" meaning that by its geometrical shape it is warm in the winter and cool in the summer without excessive HVAC bills.
This is a 27 foot diameter dome that could easily house a single person or couple and could have an interior like this rendering.
Hugh wants the funds to build a 3 to 6 unit model Eco-Village to enable government officials to see the viability of this as low income housing instead and of the current depressing apartment complexes that have no room for pickel ball area, gazebo, BioDome ™, etc.
The funds will be used to manufacture 3 to 6 27 foot diameter Raptor Domes ™ Kits, build the 3-6 dome structures, outfit at least two of the domes, lease or buy the property for the model, and purchase the CNC router seen below for $5000 less shipping and handling.
