Loving the Skin I’m In by Vision of Rose Photography

Hello! I am Rosey, the owner and lead photographer for Vision of Rose Photography. As a photographer who specializes in photographing primarily women, I have heard "I'm not beautiful enough to be photographed" so many times. I have seen women literally emotionally beat themselves up for not looking like women they've seen in magazines. I decided this needs to change. But the only way to do this is to reach women directly through women who are dealing with the same struggles. I decided to do a swimsuit photo shoot with women who volunteered to be photographed while wearing only a swimsuit. These gorgeous women came together, through all of their insecurities, and stood proudly while I photographed each of them. I also shot a small video of them saying their name along with "I am beautiful" because there's something so empowering when you tell yourself that you ARE beautiful. The heart of this project is set to reaching women all across the world, in numerous countries. I want women to understand that they ARE beautiful as they are. Without the glamorous hair and makeup, without the corsets holding everything in, without the gorgeous gowns and fancy clothing... they are beautiful.   What I would like to do with this project is raise enough funds to where I can expand this project globally. I want to reach women all across the world and the only way to do this is with the funds to create the proper marketing and promotional materials I need. I would like to hire a professional videographer to capture our promotional videos as well as put the funds towards travelling to different areas in hopes of reaching more women.   I feel this project has a very powerful message in it and the more women I am able to reach, the better my job.
