Campaign Story
Hi to all of Lovey's friends, family and anyone who would like to help her succeed in this fight against cancer. Our dear friend Lovey Ann Abadia Torres was recently diagnosed with Stage 2 Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. She is now going through a treatment process to get rid of the cancer cells so she may live longer and continue to take care of her 3 children.
Aside from the lymphoma and swelling of her lymph nodes, a tumor was also discovered in her chest area which makes it difficult for her to breathe. Right now she is required home oxygen therapy 24 hours a day to maintain a normal oxygen level in her body. The oxygen she receives through an oxygen tank helps make her body stronger especially after chemotherapy.
After diagnosis, her doctors recommended her to go through a cycle of 8 chemotherapy sessions. She has just finished 2 chemotherapy sessions, and though her body became weak, the results were promising. The tumor in her chest was reduced by more than 50%. However these results came at a very high cost as cancer treatments are very expensive.
With the help of this campaign, we hope to raise enough money for Lovey's treatment and recovery. Your donation will help refill her oxygen tank and buy her medicines, and most importantly, help her finish all chemotherapy sessions. Her next session will be in a couple of weeks and we hope that this campaign will help with the expenses.
Thank you very much for your time and gift towards Lovey's fight against cancer. We look forward to seeing her in good health and spending time with dear family and friends. All donations will go straight to Lovey's PayPal account. #cancerwarrior

Hi Lovey, you may not remember me from HS. Though we do not know each other on a personal level, I am praying for the success of your treatment and speedy recovery! May God’s grace and strength be with you in this journey. Love and light, Gillian
