Lovers Games: Episode One (short horror film)

I’m running this campaign in order to inform you of my short subject horror film LOVERS GAMES: EPISODE ONE and also to request funding/sponsorship from you. I am a young and potential person with enthusiasm for writing, art and film, a published writer and children’s book illustrator; I have been writing for over 5 years and this time I would love to turn my work into film. It will be my first time directing/producing a film although I will be assisted by a professional, I believe there’s a first time for everything and I would highly appreciate you to help me with my first time.

LOVERS GAMES: EPISODE ONE tells a story of a young woman that suffers from depression and shortly after a breakup with her boyfriend she commits suicide. Being the only person her father had since his wife past away, the brilliant surgeon decides to avenge his daughter’s death when he finds a suicide-note she wrote about the boyfriend. But revenge brings no satisfaction to the surgeon; he starts a series of ‘death games’ (police refer to them as murders) involving couples around a small town.

Filming is scheduled for November/December, an 8-hour shoot in my bathroom and a local bar. I want to make the short film to help pitch the script for a full-length feature film of the same name to various studios, executives and actors. LOVERS GAMES is the first installment of a number of horror films that consist in the same universe I plan to make.
