Lovely Ladies of Lupus

In 2011 after spending over a month in Johns Hopkins, i was diagnosed with lupus. I went from being a completely healthy 22 year old to being temporarily paralyzed and near death with no real answer why. It was the hardest thing I ever had to go through. What made it harder was not knowing if I would be able to see my then three year old son grow up. But I never lost the faith. Almost instantly I began to regain strength. When people look at me today, that have no clue that I have a diagnosis that is completely unpredictable, or that with each day comes new uncertainties. People think that because I look fine, I am fine. And for the most part I am. I will be on medication for the rest of my life, but that is fine with me because by the grace of God, I still have the rest of my life to look forward to. That is more than come can say. 

I have chosen to use my testimony as a platform to reach out to others who have been diagnosed as well. I want to inspire, encourage and uplift by providing products that give people a positive symbol to identify with. People will not look at me and see a young woman with lupus. They will first and foremost see a fabulous, strong woman of God living life to its fullest. 

Though I walk in my healing, I do have times when I may be in pain or self conscious while dealing with symptoms that come along with the disease that are not readily visible to others. I want my products to cater to the women behind the disease who everyday put on a brave face for the world while still needing support and understanding on the inside. 

Lovely Ladies of Lupus is an inspirational movement that caters to the woman behind the disease by offering spiritual encouragement and emotional support. Our products are designed to uplift, motivate, empower and heal the mind, body and soul.
