Love with sugar

A love story.

This is a very brief story that could happen to anyone but it happened to me.
I'm a 39 years old dreamer from Portugal.
Being a flight attendant for 15 years and needing a pause in my life, for health reasons, I decided to take a break for 1 year, travel and think about my life.
On my travels I met someone in Australia and, unexpectedly, we liked each other.
We kept in touch and 2 months after, he met me in Phillipines for 2 weeks and our bond became stronger.
Around 3 weeks after, I went back to Australia, we spent 2 more months together and our love for each other grew more and more.
As a 39 year old man, a working visa in Australia is not possible to obtain and fear of the unknown, fear or leaving a comfortable position that took years to achieve and, as in everywhere else, money became an issue as well.
And, in a lot of tears, we separated.
But our love is still strong as is the will to be together.
And so I thought that, maybe a business in Melbourne would be a good idea and, beeing Portuguese, what better than bringing a bit of Portugal to Australia, with a small pastry shop to sell our custard tarts.

I could say I'm doing it for all of you, but the truth is I'm doing it to be with the one I love and beeing able to prolong our love story, hopefully, until the end of times.
