Love the skin you’re in teenage girl focus project

In my generation, being a teenager isn't easy, especially for a young lady. I would have never thought to have seen so many girls that I used to play dolls with become mothers, or drop outs, or drug addicts. I've always had the passion to make a change, just not the drive. Now that I am finally 19 and a college student I've met some pretty interesting girls who are willing to help us other teenage girls out the way I would like to. I've decided to come up with the "Love the skin you're in" group project which is basically a group of girls ranging from ages 13-19, any race, any situation in life, and represent what we should stand for in the community and in the world. I have big dreams for this now small group- seminars, traveling, having events, pairing with other organizations and charities, etc. there is currently only 17 girls, including myself, in the local dade in broward area however I plan on making it extremely larger than that. I have currently saved up exactly $1,019.00 on my own. The girls and I would like to get t-shirts, raise money for trips, and be able to recruit other girls. We are currently planning as much fundraisers as possible so the least amount of money can come from their pockets. I would just like to use this website as a small opprotunity to add towards the goal we are already working hard to reach. I am confident that with my ambition and drive to do this, the Love The Skin You're In project will be larger than life!
