Love Still Runs Free Romania

Hi all, I am Brad and I want to share a really personal story with you. When my son 10 years old he went to the hospital to get an usual vaccine. Due to the conditions and careless attention, he got infected with HIV. When we found out, our hearts broke into pieces…there was the new normality that we had to adapt to: getting our kid the needed treatment and taking all the necessary measures so that he can live his childhood to the fullest and preparing him for what was next in adulthood. Because this impacted my life, the fight for children with AIDS/HIV became a priority for me. To all the children out there struggling, I just want them to know that we understand you and we are here for you. You are loved! Our goal is to assist small NGOs (non-profit organizations) such as EVERYONES CHILD ROMANIA ( www.everyoneschild.org.uk) who are "on the frontline" of care. These NGOs are underfunded and struggling with the overload of children and teenagers who have been abandoned by their families due to the stigma of AIDS. We plan to create a series of small fundraising events where education and awareness are the goals in the hopes of acquiring long term sponsors to help us continue. Music is a message of LOVE and the Romanian artists community is determined to make a difference. With your help we will be able to do this and create a "once a year'" major fundraising concert with international and domestic artists contributing their talents to further our cause.
