My daughter, Sofia Pink A. Mata, was born prematurely on July 22, 2019 for only 28 weeks or 7 months. She was admitted at the NICU of Marikina Valley Medical Center and placed in an incubator up to the present day. Doctors have diagnosed her of Prematurity, Sepsis Neonatorum (Methicillin Resistant Staph Epidermidis) and Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia (CAH). They informed me that she requires a very strong set of antibiotics for her sepsis and a life time treatment of steroids and hormones for her Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia (CAH). And that she also needs to stay to the NICU, in an incubator, until she recovers.
My husband and I were in desperate need of financial help. We have tried all possible source to arrange the money for her hospitalization, as of today her bill is already Php1,015,045.00 or 19,500 USD(as of Sept. 05, 2019) without the doctor’s fee, and it is estimated that her bill will reach up to 2 million pesos or 38,450 USD, that amount is beyond the reach of a government employee like me.

Love Pink 64th day @ NICU
Update posted by camille mata at 10:03 amHello everyone,Its Sofia Pink's 64th day @NICU today. She's now 1.030kg! Thank you Lord! Though her weight gain is so slow, this is also because of her condition congenital adrenal hyperplasia(CAH), still it is a good news for us. Her feeding is now 15ml every 4 hours, gradually her doctor. . . . .

Her feeding was gradually increased in the fast few days and now they are maintaining it to 10ml every 4 hours. Her current weight is 930grams.Last night her pedia-gastro and pedia-surgeon talked to us with regards to her. . . . .
