My fiance and I met almost 28 years ago when we were both in 4th grade.  Kevin chased me around the playground during every recess, every day, for an entire school year.  Shortly after the end of our 4th grade year, my family moved and I had to change schools.  I never forgot about him, but all I knew was that his name was Kevin.  In fact, I didn't even know his last name.  I told the story many, many times over the years.  I remember the first time I saw him again after 4th grade.  We were both freshmen in high school.  The moment I saw his face, I knew it was him.  I was so incredibly shy at that time that I watched him pass by me in the halls every day and never said a single word to him.  After that first year of high school, Kevin's family moved and I never saw him at school again.  Over the years, I often thought about the crazy little kid who chased me everywhere when we were little kids, but I never imagined I would ever see him again.  One day, a friend of mine posted some pictures on her facebook page.  Coincidentally, Julie was in the same 4th grade class that Kevin and I were in and happened to post our class picture.  All of the kids' names were listed on the bottom of the picture - including last names.  I did a quick search online and found Kevin living just 30 miles away.  I sent him a message and later that week, he and I met for lunch.  Since that day, Kevin and I have been inseperable and plan to marry in March.  Unfortunately, since proposing to me last Christmas, Kevin lost his job and has been unable to find another.  Needless to say, finances are tough and we are both under a lot of stress to find a way to afford our wedding.
