Love is love

Hi my name is Tracey Crumity and I am engaged to the love of my life, Chelsea. About a year and a half ago I was enrolled at a private college in Florida (Stetson University) on scholarship. My family is anything but wealthy, my dad stopped talking to me around the age of 16 after getting a new family, and my mom stayed in an abusive marriage with my step dad for 12 years while she was beaten and verbally abused along with my younger sister. I haven't come from much but I will be better than the environment I grew up in. I worked hard to get not college on my own and from 2009-2012 I was thriving. After my first semester junior year financial aid informed me that I would not be allotted the same rewards as prior years due to budget cuts and an incoming football team and stadium. I had to drop out of school a year from graduating. After school I had no where to go and not many friends in the position to help me. Chelsea was an alumni from stetson that I met through a close friend at the school. We all met at a local bar one night and Chelsea and I quickly became friends. She took me in, fed me, cared for me, treated me like a person and not a mess up. She became my best friend then she became the love of my life. We've been together and through so many hardships just to be with one another. We deserve a chance to be happy without being looked at and judged for what we are as opposed to the people and character we are and embody. Chelsea spent every dollar into getting me back into school and I am now half way complete with my medical assisting certification with specialty in phlebotomy and am in the top of my class. We have no help from either of our parents because we love one another and live paycheck to paycheck to make end meet. Chelsea proposed to me January 30, 2013 (anniversary of our first kiss) and we've saved up for a small ceremony in New York for the summer. I had to quite my job because I was becoming unable to make it two cities out everyday and we were evicted from our apartment we'd had for almost a year. We used our savings to find a new home and get our situation back to being stable. We found the perfect venue for the little friends that will be attending and can't let it go because of our funds. Chelsea is my hero and the woman I want to be with and start a family with for the rest of my life. We are good people who love and help who we can even when we are unable to. I humbly ask for your help. She is my family and the only I've had for a long time that protected me when I couldn't even protect myself. Thank you for any and all help available!
