STOP HOMOPHOBIA! Music Video in Memoriam of Aavinshu Patel – Can’t help falling in love ( ukulele cover )

On the 2^nd of July, a Facebook post shocked its readers...

19-year-old Aavinshu Patel wrote:

” I love my mom, dad, and sister. I thank them for supporting me. It is not my fault that I was born gay. Everyone knows I am a boy. But the way I walk, think and talk is like a girl. People in India do not like that. “

These were his last words. After the post, the young boy decided to commit suicide probably hoping he would find more acceptance in heaven over the rainbow.

Why do we let this happen?

Hi, My name is Gabor Orosz. I am a working actor and musician and although I identify as a heterosexual male, I can’t express how much I feel about this issue!

I have friends and even family members who identify as one of the letters of LGBTQ and I don’t want them to experience suicidal thoughts ever because of some homophobic members of the society. Apart from this, obviously, it is not just about my acquaintances. I don’t want anyone ever to end up like Aavinshu Patel again and I hope it is not just me feeling this way!

When I heard about this story, I felt a lot of sorrow in my heart, so much that I decided to write this music video and I firmly believe the message it conveys will help fight homophobia all over the world.

In the music video two guys, Tom and Axel fell in love with each other...

Axel wants to keep it a secret because he is afraid their love would not be accepted but Tom decides to make it public.

The publicity of their loving each other brings on a lot of bullying, unfortunately.

After this, Tom and Axel are seen fighting on the porch which is followed by Axel leaving with his suitcase.

Tom thinks he did something terrible and in addition, he lost his boyfriend because of that. He can’t cope with the pain and unfortunately decides to take his own life.

By the time Axel is back, in the bathtub he finds not rose petals and signs of romance and liveliness as he used to but exactly the opposite...

He decides to carry, Tom, to the river where they first met and let him flow into the sunset on a floating raft.

After the night, he can not take the burden anymore and he decides to follow Tom to clouds, the only place he believes their love could have been truly accepted.

At the end of the music video, Tom appears behind Axel's ghost. Axel looks at him apologetically but Tom smiles at him romantically with a look on his face that tells him how much he loves him.

They walk away to the sunrise as two beautiful souls hand in hand, in love and Tom's phone accidentally falls out of his pocket.

On the screen of his phone, the bullying facebook post appears which started this whole series of events.

Someone comments: " Tom and Axel died... "

The Facebook post suddenly gets deleted by its creator but someone writes on his wall:

Did this really have to happen for you to stop?

Let this music video be a tribute to Aavinshu and let the story of Tom and Axel be the last in which the members of a loving relationship thought they could only be truly happy together in the afterlife!

Let’s stop homophobia and create more acceptance together!

Our plan is to make this music video as professional as possible and to run marketing campaigns especially in those countries where homophobia is more prevalent.
