Aside from chemo we had back pain that we want to raise to our attending physician.

What we thought were simple issues, were actually mountains of complications.

We came in and we had a fever. As usual, cbc urinalysis and culture were done as routine. But then...

1. Pneumonia

2. Uti

3. Edema

4. Low oxygen, collapsed on some parts of lungs.

5. Her unstagable bedsore has to be cleaned in OR. with all sop's of a surgey.

6. Her sample flesh from the wound culture shown diff bacteria. 1 she had befire and another that requures another xxxpenem type of antibiotic.

7. Ultrasound shown amount liquid from the lungs that requires extractions.

8. The back pain is intolerable. RT has be been planned and has already performed 3 out of 10 sessions. Hoping this will address the spine compression that give her so much constant pain.

9. On the bright side, metastastic found from diff organs has become smaller. A good sign that the protocol is still working. Significantly the mass on her neck is almost unnoticable. Hopefully soon the RT necomes effective

How is she?

There are so many complication that hinders tasks to her to be performed. Back pain. Bed sore, fever etc.. She is weak. But fighting. Trying to cope and adjust. And so am i.

Imagine different med appararus being brought into her room. Yes, tht's right, it's like the tv show you watched before.

Hi everyone we are now admitted in the hospital for our 4th chemo session!

And good news is that we know the chemo is working because the tumor on my neck is shrinking!

Kindly pray for me that my temperature stays below 37.5 Celsius so that there's no need to stop our chemo session. Fever means infection again and i dont want to take any more antibiotics. It will also mean longer stay in the hospital.

Lesser stay = lesser cost.

Thank you again for all your prayers!

07.30.2019 update:

Hello everyone!

This is Love.

Sharing with you the Good news! Can finally go home tomorrow. Chemo went well.

For now we will reinsert the folly catheter to support my bladder movement as i cannot urinate properly.

After our 4th out of 12th chemo session on the August 5, they will again perform cancer marker test and consult the ortho/spine doctors on possible surgery on my bones.

Because of this, hospital bills will be piling up again. We are knocking on your big hearts for some more acts of love and compassion. If you have any excess amount you can donate for us we will gladly appreciate it!

Here is my husband PH bank account:

P. S. Pray for more strength for me! And for any strength that I'm lacking may the Good Lord provide it for me! And pray for my doctors too that they may be able to find the best way for me!

Last day of antibiotic and Prep for tomorrow 3rd chemo session. This time hopefully we get to stay only for chemo and nothing else

07.22.2019 - Gino

Flying to singapore to settle some stuff. It is hard to go away at her state. But this has to be done. Thank you for the prayers and support. We still have a long way to go and we've only just begun. Hoping that there can soon be a consiatent order in our lives.

How is she? Her Lower body is still paralyzed, getting mood swings, always sleepy, bed sore and weak.

07.20.2019 - Gino
Finally able to go home. Love's WBC has normalized. She is weak but recovering. Her antibiotics has to he continued home thruogh IV. 15 days interval on session feels short. Thank you Phia for administering her meds.

07.17. 2019: - Gino
What was supposedly 3 days of chemo had turn into a 6 days admittance. Due to low WBC Love's immune went down. Temp went up and tests had to be performed. It's E-coli. Somehow it persisted. So we have to stay 3 more days.

07.16.2019: Gino

2nd session of 1st cycle for COLON CA STG4. Please continue praying for her. Pray that she can overcome any side effects of the meds.

Hello everyone! Just finished our 2nd sessions out of 13 chemo session for my Stage 4 colon cancer. I'm currently recuperating for our 3rd session of chemo which will happen on July 29, 2019.

How am i? Fighting with faith! Because i know God is bigger than this Stage 4 Colon cancer i have!

So, again, im knocking on your big hearts if you could spare any amount for my hospitalization. Prayers too!

I would also like to share this picture taken for free by our dear friend. We are aiming to build an CANCER ADVOCACY here in the Philippines where we can spread hope, help and love to all cancer patients in the Philippines! And i believe that is the mission God has given to me. I will be able to walk and run for these cancer patients and survivor!

Gratitude Post!

❤️ Thank you Lord God for bringing my soul back to me today!

❤️ Thank you for my mother! She is also one of my caregivers, my love giver. My overall support. Emotionally. Physically. Spiritually. No one can really fathom the love they have for their children. Because even if they're not so strong, they will always find ways to be strong for their children.

My mother is not really well. She's not allowed to perform heavy tasks becuase of her eyes. She really cannot see well since she's a child. Yet she is here is with me for 2 days because we don't have a caregiver now and Gino's been sick. (9 days office leave).

She's the one cooking for me and taking care of me even if its hard. Yet she doesn't complain even a bit.

I thank the Lord our God for you Mama.. Something that until now i really don't know how im able to be worthy of except for God's Grace!x

I love you so so much!!!

Kindly continue to pray for my mother and Gino that they may always have the strength physically, emotionally, spiritually with our cancer battle! ❤️ GOD IS BIGGER.

Something to be thankful of.

My husband Gino Buenaventura had been working almost all his life as an OFW in Singapore. Our marriage of 7 years had almost been spent away from each other (except for the years that i was able to work in SG too!)

And yet, when i was primarily diagnosed with STAGE 4 of unknown cancer primary he left Singapore just to be with me in my fight for this cancer.

Yes, he is UNEMPLOYED right now just because he doesn't want me to be alone. I dont even know if it was selfish of me.

He is my primary caregiver. My supporter. Through to his vow of marriage. In sickness and in health.

But We believe. We hope. We have faith. In every miracle that comes along our way.

Every little prayer. Every little thought. Every little help.

Kindly include us always in your prayers.. That we may always have the strength physically, emotionally and spiritually in this healing journey of ours.

And for any amount that you can spare/donate we consider it additional miracle that comes our way!
