Love for Lance: a Fundraising Project for Dad’s Healing

Hello! My Dad, Lance Timbreza, 57 years old, had a stroke at around 7 pm (Philippine Standard Time) last Wednesday, 25 January 2023. He was at the church nearby, playing the keyboards at a prayer meeting. Thank God that he was, for his companions were able to immediately take him to the Emergency Room of Biñan Doctors Hospital.

Dad was brought to the ICU and were given meds. He also underwent an operation called a Craniectomy where the neurosurgeon relieved pressure from the brain, stopped other bleedings, and removed about 80% of the hematoma. As of this writing, it has been a day since the surgery. Dad is recovering in the ICU, and is receiving the care and monitoring that he needs.

The funds that we are raising shall cover the expenses for Dad's healing, primarily the surgery, hospital bills, medication, etc., especially for the next few days that Dad will need to be in the ICU for close monitoring. At the same time, they are in preparation for possible procedures to maximize Dad's chances of overcoming this ordeal. For example, Dad's neurosurgeon advised that we might be doing other diagnostic procedures such as a CT Angiogram to rule out aneurysm.

Dad is everyone's favorite and we feel it now more than ever. Our family deeply appreciates the love and support that you all shower us with and in advance, we thank you--profusely--for holding us up.

Finally, I ask you to please also help in storming the heavens with prayers for Dad. We pray that he wakes up, responds well, and ultimately spends more years laughing, making music, and biking with us.
