Love and Care for All Uganda Fundraiser

I have worked closely with Love and Care for All - Uganda for over 5 years. They are an orphanage in Uganda which is run by a lovely lady and they take children from small babies up to late teens off the street and give a warm safe environment with food, drink and the chance of going to school with the help of sponsors.

I sponsored a little girl Nakato 5 years ago and with the help of Brittany Slimming Group we also sponsor a little boy Edwin. The money we pay each month means they can now go to school and it pays for their schooling, materials, their food and clothes for the month. We also raised extra money throughout the year to buy different things for them. Last year we bought 4 toilets, some mosquito nets, a birthday party and presents for Edwin, and by doing a raffle we raised enough to buy all 106 children christmas presents and food for their christmas meal, something they have never experienced.

Now we woild like to help them further and raise money to build a reservoir which not only will provide the orphanage with safe drinking water but also the whole village. The orphanage currently have a well but the pump keeps breaking as it is not powerful enough so a better solution of a reservoir is needed.

With the constant hike in food prices over there they are struggling to buy basic essentials let alone build a reservoir.
