Louienaire’s Kidney Transplant

Hi. Ako po si Louienaire, 16, grade 10 student. Diagnosed with SLE (Systemic Lupus Erythematosus) secondary to Chronic Kidney Disease 5 (CKD 5). Kasalukuyang nagdadialysis sa NKTI na naging dahilan para ako ay pansamantalang huminto muna at magpahinga sa pag aaral.

2015 nang magsimula ang palpitations ko. Nagpatuloy ang workups at napag alamang ako may MVP (Mitral Valve Prolapse) everything went well, until last 2017 bumalik po ang palpitations ko. We started another workups, at doon po ako nadiagnose for Lupus. Medications and labs has continued (medrol pulsing treatment) for 6 months. But we decided to stop because of its unhealthy side effects. Nagcause po ito ng aking cataract (both eyes). Napilitan po kami na ipaopera ito dahil sa unti unti na rin pong paglabo ng paningin ko. July 2018 nang inopera po ang right eye ko.

Bukod po rito, we found out na meron po akong ovarian cyst which needs to be removed as soon as possible.

I wish na mapadali po ang aking transplant dahil habang tumatagal ang aking pagdadialysis ay hindi po nagiging maganda ang effect nito sa aking katawan lalo na sa puso.

Kami po ay kumakatok sa inyong mabubuting puso na matulungan kaming mas mapadali ang operation ko. Sa pamamagitan ng inyong donations, mas mapapabalis din po ang pagbalik ko muli sa school. Kasalukuyan pa rin po ang paghahanap namin sa mga possible kidney donors. Hinihiling ko rin pong isama nyo ako sa inyong prayers. Tatanawin po namin itong malaking utang na loob. Hi. I am Louienaire, 16, grade 10 student. Diagnosed with SLE (Systemic Lupus Erythematosus) secondary to Chronic Kidney Disease 5 (CKD 5). I undergo dialysis twice a week at NKTI. And the doctor advised me to stop going to school for the mean time.

2015 when my palpitation has started. We continued some workups and there we found out that i have MVP (Mitral Valve Prolapse) everything went well, until last 2017, continuous palpitations attacked. We started another workups, and there i was diagnosed with Lupus. Medications and labs have continued (medrol pulsing treatment) for 6 months. But we decided to stop because of its unhealthy side effects. Unfortunately, this treatment caused me cataract in both eyes. July 18, we decided to undergo the procedure to remove the cataract in my left eye because i wasnt able to see clearly anymore and i was having a hard time seeing the notes written on the board at school.

Aside from this, we also found out that i have an ovarian cyst which needs to be removed as soon as possible.

I wish to have my transplant at the soonest possible time while i am still physically strong enough to undergo the procedure. Because dialysis creates more complications as time passes by especially to my heart.
