I bought a puppy in May, who was going to be my life buddy, my rock, my best friend for the next 10+ years.
But something went wrong with him. He became very mature in a young age, and had to be neutered in his 14th week. He was VERY dominant. $318 is the neutering price here.

He also started limping, like alot, so I had to get his elbows scanned, that was around $400..
He didnt show any sign of elbow dysplasia, but he kept on limping, so I got him some chiropractic, wich didnt help either. He also had very bad diarreah since he was puppy. No blood, just diarreah, so he had to get this special expensive food, wich also helped him in the end.

He started to become agressive in October, and he bit my hand!
I knew something wasnt 100% as it should be, because dogs doesnt get aggressive without reasons.
He destroyed all my things, and he had to wear a basket, when we went to bed, because he kept walking all night, and ate things. He had a ton of toys and bones to chew, but he only destroyed my things.
He lost the respect for me, and he started to growl and show teeth.
I was in contact with the vet, and he told me to get in touch with a therapist for dogs.

While I was looking for some of them, he got this odd skin problem around his penis, (october 27th) and I had to call the vet. It was red and had puss too. I got some pills and some soap to keep it clean. $150
Sunday october 29th, in the night to monday, his lymphnodes were swollen 3 times, he peed inside (he was houseclean before) he peed 21 times in 24 hours, drank only 0,5L water, he puked and he was restless.
Monday very early, I had to call the vet again, this was really serious bad.
He came around 2.15 o'clock, and he could barely recognize him, even tho he had seen him all summer. My puppy was confused looking, and it was like he couldnt hear. The first 5 min the vet was there, he peed 3 times, one was while the vet patted him on the fence. And he also puked.
He had kidney fails and was being eaten up by cancer.

There were nothing more to do. We took him down in the garden, and the vet euthanized him. It went all good and he got peace, monday 30th of October at 2.30 o'clock. $400..
He is burried in the garden, where he loved to run and have fun.. I cried for many days, and I still have a hard time talking about this. My puppy were only 6 month old.

I miss my best bud, and I'm saving up for a new dog, who can give me, what he gave me, when he was feeling good. The vet bills has eaten my savings, so it will take some time to get back there, but its important to have a good savings, when you have pets.

He was a mixed breed of big dogs, and I'll never get such again. Its my 3rd mixed breed, that dies in an early age.

I had insurence on him, but it didnt help in this case at all. Insurence is sadly very strict on dogs here, so many illness doesnt get help economic. I also lost my job, due to huge bullying from my boss wich gave me stress and depression, so it has been a hard time. I'm fighting with my depression, but knowing he is not sick anymore, has helped me a little.

I miss him
