- HI
I am 56 yrs. old.never been married. I have a 36 yr old son who is disabled and currently incarcerated in county jail who moved back home early December.And we have barely gotten by for the last month. We had to "skip" Christmas this year, first time ever! My 2 grandchildren ages 16 and 8 didn't quite understand. - My life took a turn for worse after 4th of July when I had 2 trees blown down by straightline winds on mine and my neighbors property w/ no insurance. My car stopped running, tags and insurance expired, my son and another roommate who were only source of income and running vehicle both left just as I was reaching my last $3000 in savings. And my refrigerator quit working!
- I have been getting by selling a few items here and there.the help of friends and looking for options to make money from home to try to get my vehicle up and on road again so as to look for work. Not many options within walking distance.It seems I have been "switching gears" every other day in my efforts to meet new precedences. It is only by Grace of God I still have lights, heat, and water which all facing shutoff by end of month! Down to bare minimum on everything...and 2 cats and dog depending on me!
- It is now gonna take at least $2000 to catch up on outstanding utilities and internet services w/reconnect and deposits on top of that!
- Only other family is my sister who draws disability and her 17 yr old son who is paying off her mobile home and credit card dept.
- I myself am free of debt and am due to draw retirement from my 22 yrs service with Kroger...if I ever get time to start that ball rolling...I have been trying to clear out 40 yrs and 3 generations of junk in my parents estate while Raccoons and opossum taking over my little place which in bad need of repairs!
- No insurance on either to secure loan and after mom passed...wasn't enough to Hire all the work out.
- Come tax time not enough to cover that..now risk losing if I cant get out of this hole and back to work!
- My birthday is March 26...and Spring! My goal is to turn over a new leaf and see my life start to
- blossom once again!
- Any assistance to get me out of hole and on my feet again would be greatly appreciated! I don't know where else to turn my options keep shrinking.
