Campaign Story
Hi, I am a single mother with a wonderful 10 year old daughter.I am on disability and going through some medical issues, I have a biopsy scheduled for Monday March 2/2015. I have lost my disability checks as of December/2014, and had no choice but to go on welfare since for medical reasons I am not allowed working. Unfortunately the amount I receive does not cover my bills. We are losing our home because of this and I have nowhere else to turn and no family to help us out. A close childhood friend has offered us to stay with them in British Columbia ,so that we do not end up on the streets or in a shelter as well as losing all of our belongings. I am usually the person who is always helping others in anyway I can,and that is why I find it extremely difficult to reach out for help but I have no other way. The move plus our flight will cost close to 4,000.00 if not more, this is why I am starting this campaign. We are sincerely asking if anyone can PLEASE find it in their hearts to help us reach our goal by May 1/2015, so that we may have a home. Any and all prayers are appreciated as well. God bless.
