Hello,

My name is Joanna and I decided to create this campaign for my beloved nanny Ate Lorie, who took care of me and my other siblings when were still little and also looked after our kids when she was still able (before the cancer). Ate Lorie had been with us ever since and she had been supporting her family all the way and giving all out her salary without saving for her own.

Two years ago Ate Lorie had an operation to get her ovary and cervix removed because of the tumor. According to her biopsy the tumor taken from her was cancerous and was advised to undergo chemotherapy so that it won't come back. However Ate Lorie decided not to because it cause a lot of money and just made her diet very well. When the bad news came once again my parents sent her home in San Carlos, Pangasinan with her family so that they can take care of Ate Lorie closely. We were able to raised money (with the help of some of our relatives) which had been used for her hospitalization. The doctors sent her home without any prescription like pain reliever and was advice that she needs to undergo surgery ASAP to remove the water in her body and for whatever that needs to be done and the most heart breaking part is that Ate Lorie doesn't have long time to live according to the doctors. The money that we had raised was not enough to cover all her medical needs and right at this very moment, Ate Lorie is in their home sitting all day, all night since she has difficulty in breathing. Ate Lorie can not stand and walk anymore and both of her legs are swelling. We visited her last November 25, 2017 and in front of my eyes I saw my Ate Lorie, weak and feeling sorry for her situation, thanking us for everything which was so painful to hear. I have known and seen her so strong but then this cancer hit her so bad and took every strength she had.

They don't have much, her parents can't support her, my parents and my siblings can't support her alone. That's why I made this step and created this campaign for Ate Lorie. She doesn't deserve this sickness, no one does. I don't know how long she can fight this or how long she still have and maybe tomorrow or next day Ate Lorie might leave us. All I want for her now is to be pain free and for her to feel comfortable even just for a while.

Please, Help Ate Lorie for her surgery or even just for her medication.
