US$0.00raised of $25,000.00 goal goal
The photo illustrates about a man who is suffering from very rare and fatal disease in Bangladesh. His name is ''Abul Bazdar''. The 25-year-old man has been suffering from this disease for almost a decade.
As a result, his two hands and some parts of the feet became
distorted and form a tree. His hands seems to be the root of a tree.
The disease has spread to some parts of the two feet. The
rare name of this disease is tree-like. Abul Bazdar was a van puller. But due to
this disease, he can not do any work for the last 6 years. That is very pathetic. He is the only earning source of his family.
"At first, there was a small lump. He showed it to doctor in Calcutta. But the disease did not stop but grows. The doctor says it needs a major surgery.
Although doctors suggested surgery, it was not done
due to lack of money. 'Mr. Sen' the doctor of Kolkata said: "It is called epidermo dysplasia
varukoformis which is a type of dangerous virus . Our first impedance is to fix the
patient's hand. After that, more tests will be done.''
According to
Dr. Sen, so far
only two patients have recorded this disease in the world. One of them is in
Indonesia and the other is Romania.
Dr. Sen says, he does not know ultimately how much this treatment will cost.
Now,
He has been brought to the capital ''Dhaka city'' for treatment. As an individual I am helping him by collecting money for his treatment. So, a little donation from you can make one's life normal.
You are spending money no matter what happens. Make it worthy rest is on your conscience.
