Looking For a Hand Up not a Hand Out

Greetings, I am here today on my knees and humble to ask for your help so that I can get off the welfare system by going to get training for my class A truck driving license and get a stable job and income to support my family of five. I went to apply for finical assistants last year as I was told there was finical aid but I was to late because they had given out all the vouchers for that year and I was told to come back in Jan 2014. I went yesterday morning back to the office with a sense of new beginnings and a hopeful heart to retry and apply for a voucher to cover the cost of my schooling and I was told that the funding for this had changed as of Jan 1, 2014 and it is no longer available to me because of cuts made to the workforce program, and that it is only made available to those who are currently on unemployment (which I am not at this time) I cant describe the disappointment and sense of depression I feel now as I was so hopeful to be given a voucher to attend Road Masters and get my Class A license and be able to reenter the work force and provide for my family. Now it seems hopeless. I spoke with a Rep at the trucking school today and he said he can get me in the school with 1000.00 down but I would have to come up with another 1500.00 before I take the actual driving test. Sadly atm we are barley getting by on my wife's monthly social security and the food stamps that we get from welfare and I cant even come up with the 1000.00 down payment to start the class. So a friend recommended I humble myself and throw away my pride and come here and ask folks I don't even know if they can spare any small amount of change to help this man make a huge  life change for himself and his family.
