London teacher trying to buy a house

I am a teacher who is trying to buy a house. London is a place where it is extremely hard to do this. I know this is a common problem for all, but I don't want to leave the community I have lived in all my life. My friends and family are all here and I don't want to loose that. I also love my school which is in the area and don't want to have to leave a job I love because I'm not lucky enough to have inheritance and fat savings . I'm hoping the kindness of people will help and I am intrigued to see if this works
