On the morning of September 11, 2020, Friday, Pedrito Pabonita was rushed to the hospital ICU due to complaints sudden and extreme pain in his stomach, breathing difficulty, and constant vomiting.

A few hours after confinement, he was attached with an oxygen hose and later intubated due to extremely low BP and severe breathing difficulty.

A little over 24 hours later, his laboratory test and all other medical test results came out and the diagnosis was that he is suffering from septic shock due to severe infection in his right lung from a serious case of pneumonia. The sepsis also affected his other organs, and has resulted to appendicitis and inflammation of his gall bladder. He, however, posted a negative result in the COVID-19 RT-PCR test.

At dawn on Sep. 13, 2020, he suffered multiple cardiac arrests, and was revived with the help of extreme medication. However, he is currently now in comatose state.

In such a short span of time, his physical condition has worsened at such a drastic pace that it has become very difficult for all of us, especially his wife and siblings to understand and accept.

Loloy, as he is fondly known by family and friends, is a very humble and enthusiastic person.

He is a very loving and dedicated husband to his wife Menjie, and a very doting and caring father to both his children, Dylan Brett, who is 6 years old, and Arabelle, who is only 4 months young. He is one of the most hardworking persons that I know, as he would take on “sideline” work from anywhere and anyone just so that he could bring home an extra hundred or two to his wife and family. Perhaps, he is a little too hardworking to a fault, as he would often disregard his own health for that extra hundred or two.

Unfortunately, Loloy is just a daily-wage employee with a take home pay of only P12000 ($240) per month. He is the solitary breadwinner of the family as his wife is left at home to care for their very young children. Whatever little savings he and his wife have kept were already used up.
My wife and I have also chipped in with the savings that we have, and solicited help from close friends and family members. but these alone cannot sustain and support for his medical expenses, which is rising at an astronomical rate by the day.

I am Fegerald Jandayan, Loloy's brother-in-law, and have witnessed firsthand how much of a hard worker, a loving and God-fearing family man, and a genuinely kind-hearted and good person he is.
I am starting this fundraiser to help give hope to Loloy and his family, extend his medication enough for God’s miracle to fall upon him, restore him to good health, and he will finally be with his family again.
Loloy is still young at 33 years, and will still have a long and quality life, with dreams to fulfill for his family.
No amount/donation is too small.
Any help is greatly appreciated and will go a long way in paying for his medical bills and helping him return to full health and recovery, and perhaps start a livelihood for his family.

For donations in the Philippines, you may use any of the accounts below.

Rest assured that all funds will go to Loloy’s immediate family.
