Loloma Home & Care Centre, Fiji

Loloma is Love in Fijian & I've been lucky enough to have received so much love in my life time I'd like to show some to this place! <3 The Loloma Home and Care Centre was started it in 2009 by two women. It is a small home where women who have suffered abuse, and find themselves pregnant and alone can get shelter, learn skills and be integrated back into the community. Loloma Home also takes care of orphans, some as young as three days old. There are currently 27 women and children at Loloma Home. I have read articles online about this place, apparently "there are hundreds of soft toys hanging from the ceiling - so while people are keen to help, it is not always with things they need." So it makes more sense to raise money, so they can buy what they need, when they need it. I emailed them & asked what they needed, so I'll also be buying toiletries and bras and underwear for the women & teenagers to take with me. Going to get a small suitcase while I'm here in New Zealand and fill it up with stuff. Will post some pictures to show you all :) 100% of what you donate will go directly to Loloma Home because I will deliver it myself If 50 of my friends & family donate just a fiver each, we'll have raised £250 to give them, which would be amazing! Moisturiser LINEN:- Single sheets and light blankets, pillows, pillow cases, towels, tea towels. Things like clothes and nappies are always helpful too.
