Campaign Story
Lola and Jamie have been farming medical grade hemp in Coín, Andalucía, Spain recently.
Medical trade hemp contains no THC (the brain altering bit as I understand it).
A few nights ago, robbers attacked their dogs and their property. On the first night, they stole roughly half their crop of hemp. As if that wasn't bad enough, The robbers returned on the 2nd night and continued to steal more of the crop. The couple have several dogs, but unusually, the dogs became reluctant to scare the robbers with barks and chasing. (the couple later found evidence that the dogs had been fired at by guns and had likely then become too scared). Worse still, the robbers (assuming them to be the same) returned on 3rd Night!! Taking almost everything they'd worked hard to grow. I've seen the farm today and the crop is completely decimated. The police only arriving after the 3rd night of robberies.
The only use for this crop, for thieves, is either to bulk out regular weed to sell to unsuspecting customers, or stolen in error thinking it contained active THC.
Can you imagine how it must feel to not be able to sleep from fear, stress, anxiety? Feeling powerless, your livelihood gone. Not knowing when the ordeal would be over. Feeling utterly broken? . I wouldn't wish that on anyone, ever
This lovely couple have work long, back breaking months to grow this crop. The product of which is used to treat anxiety, motor neurone diseases, cancer patients (like Lola herself a few years ago). They are passionate about this crop and its benefits for health. They don't deserve this.
I have not been in the area long and I'm only one person, but I have come to realise this place has a wonderful, supportive community. ❤️ I don't have a lot but if I can start to share their hour of need, then maybe with many contributions, we can help. Please give generously.😊 Every donation will help
