I've had Loki the cat since he was a kitten about 3 to 6 months old. Street cats tend to be hard to "age" correctly. Since then, he's been a loyal, albeit, mischievous companion to my family, my dogs and especially me.

Things have not been smooth for the dear kitty since 2008 onwards when he was first disgnosed with Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease (FLUTD). We unblocked him and everything appeared to work out fine - until he got blocked again.

After the fourth (or so) blockage, we decided, reluctantly, that it was time to consider a Perineal Urethrostomy. It cleared him, but he's still getting blocked every six months or so.

In November 2013, he was diagnosed with early stage liver disease and with at least 2/3 loss of kidney function. From records, he lost at least 1.5kg since early January 2013. He is currently on permanent Hepavite and SAM-E tablet supplements for both and has been in and out of the clinic on a monthly basis since that day. This has cost me at least $1,500 since November 2013. I attach the bills in Google Drive for all of you to view.

Based on his latest results, he will be be put on Subcutaneous Fluids soon if he continues to deteriorate and these cost $80 per injection as I will not be able to do the injections myself.

I am currently at my last wits end and I do not want to put him down when he's still having more good days then not. I would therefore really appreciate any form of financial assistance any of you can give.

Thank you all for taking time to read this.
