Hi there and thanks for checking out my fundraising page;

The Aim:

In 2014 my sister will be joining the World Challenge and heading off to Bolivia for a month. The aim of the trip is self development and to build key skills that will benefit the person later in life. The challenge also aims to support the community in the areas they travel to and have been given the options to help at an orphanage, by assisting in the development of water supplies or in building / teaching schools.

 

Lois and the other participants must raise the total cost of the trip before they can go and the figure is in the region of £4000 so any money raised is a bonus. 

The Challenge:

I am going to be hosting and participating in a game-a-thon. I will be playing games for an extended period of time continously, no sleep. For every £5 raised I will play 1 more hour of games, so how much I play is entirely up to you!

 

This is an entirely not for profit project; all of the money is used for the travelling expenses (flights, transport around the target country, accomodation, equipment i.e tents and walking gear, food and water).

What your donation means:

First and foremost your donation means that Lois can go on what will probably be one of the biggest and best experiences of her life not because it's a 'holiday' but because they are going to try and make a difference in parts of a developing country. 

What I will be doing:

Each £5 raised toward the £200 target will be another hour of gameplay. I have also chosen to add in a horror games section; this will consist of mostly jump-scare games such as Slender, SCP etc... as I have previously explained I am terrified of these type of games and have never played them on my own, in the dark. I will be uploading a teaser video of me playing horror games soon so people can see how genuinely terrified I get.
