hi there, my name is andreas yap. The owner of my logistic company. Its a small one but its totally different from other companies of similar trade.

The culture which i instill firmly inside were totally different, so much so that within a short period of time i could gather a team with true dedication and motivated employees.

Like many companies in this trade, everyone have to go through a tedious process to filter and refine to where we are today.

Due to that, my company is facing a temporary financial crisis.

You probably will ask whats happening and what causes all these to the current states.

Well, throughout the process, we used up quite a huge chunk of my capital, when one of my former partner walks out on us due to that he did not have enough patience to see the profitable days to arrive.

We made a few trial and errors to determine if one particular project is feasible enough to see profit or not, such as we rented a 14ft and employed a driver with an attendant, but when it doesnt seems to be the way we would expect it to be due to many physical reason such as location was too far away, vendor isnt too cooperative enough to understand as well as shortage of goods to deliver. So we discard away the 14ft and change it to a van instead. Despite that, i choose to retain the attandant whom does not possess any license yet but he used to be a driver during his army days, i kept him around because he was very hardworking and socialable guy. He is being assigned to assist the rest of the drivers with especially high goods for the day to ease their burden. I told them that they will not remain as the same position/vocation forever, i will groom everyone of them to upgrade themselves to take up roles with more responsibilities or even positions which could ultilise their talents, for example, one of my guy happened to get diagnosed with kidney failure, so i gave him a lighter workload role which is to manage the team, he told me that his ambition was to be a designer, i gave him an assignment which was to design every vehicle uniquely, i also ensured him that very likely i will shift him to become my in house designer. They were truely grateful and wants to make this possible.

There were many personal issues from all of my employees which i so far did not reject nor disappoint them, so much so right now we are literally a big family altogether.

Everyday there will be at least one guy whom will initiate to motivate the rest of the team and push them on, whenever there were some uncertainty arises, they will try to help each another to resolve the issues, otherwise they will communicate with us. They even voice out their opinions and suggestions that might further improve the overall operations.

I needed this fundings to cover for my last month operation costings as well as to implement new project that has been proven to increase the income revenue for this month onwards. My team and i were very confidence of this as we are monitoring progress daily.

For the past few months, while we are going through this tedious process, we hardly break even, however for the month of june onwards, i finally get to see the stabililty which will definitely hit break even range for the first time and even see a little bit of net profits.

I myself i actually proposed for just a dollar as my monthly salary just so that everyone else could get their deserved salaries first.

I been in touch with all sort of banks and finance companies which unfortunately unable to grant me the loan as my company were too young to be eligble.

The leasing company is pressing me for the last month payment which in event that i failed to do so, everything that we made and stood for will all be gone and wasted. All of my employees and their families will be greatly affected especially during approaching of their festive season.

My mentor once told me that being a salesman one has to be a first class beggers while being a business owner, one have to discard his pride and dignity and probably to the extend of be shameless. Im thankful for that as it gave me the courage to appear here to seek for help.

I hope that my stories will be able to convince the donators to help out this company which truly cares for their employees.
