locals from Manglaralto need to work

¡Hola a todos!

My name is Gustavo Mejillon, Im from Manglaralto-Santa Elena (Ecuador). I am speaking on behalf of the entire Manglaralto youth community. Here in Manglaralto, we have a strong sense of community and work often with one another to make different projects that benefit our small but beautiful town. The business “Ocaso” is a wood and bamboo cabana where we serve appetizers, drinks, and sell handcrafts made by local craftsmen. We built it together several years ago, now the building is old and not really safe for costumers, so we are trying to re-build it to make it a better and safer place to let more people from Manglaralto work. Due to the pandemic and the delicate situation it has put us in, some people of Manglaralto and the nearby towns have lost their Jobs.

Our goal is to have the new cabana ready as soon as possible to reactivate our business and keep offering jobs and supplying for our families. So, we have done the first step and started building the cabin all of us together, but with tight resources, luckily for us, some nice Ecuadorian and foreign people that live in Manglaralto are helping us in everything they can. The workforce is made by us so the fundraising will be for CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS alongside EQUIPMENT to keep working.

Any help we can get will be really appreciated, we will manage it the best way to finish the construction and have a solid base to work. All of you who donate will be very welcome to visit us as soon as the work is finished; we promise you will fall in love with this place. The community of youngsters from Manglaralto wishes you good days to come.
