This is the biggest dream of mine, to have a career that not only me who craves the path but with people who truly care, most specially we/us embracing success with people who doesn't have jobs, less-educated people who needs financial assistance as well as people with/that has a potential to develop and succeed in life.

KUKULOCALS.PH Introduction

Hi there Backers! I am Denver Abella, the mind behind the soon-to-be FIRST ONLINE E-COMMERCE SHOP to start in the Philippines that will focus towards local entrepreneurs, catering in different types of industries such as Food & Beverages, Clothing, Arts and Crafts and General Services such as Home Massage Services, Appliance Repair Services, Gadget Repair Services and many more.

Most of the Local Entrepreneurs in the Philippines already has the skill, talent, quality service and product, but they don't have the right platform to show their skills and products to the community and through all potential buyers, customers and clients.

Our MISSION is to build a community of connection through all the local entrepreneurs and potential customers. To provide sellers the platform to exhibit their products and services while establishing convenience to all their customers and clients by a single click/tap.

Our GOAL is to establish a healthy relationship between customers and the local entrepreneurs by maintaining the quality of the product/service being advertised on the shop.

Where would we use the funds for?

Our aim is to provide quality experience and convenience to our online customers. A solid platform is significant for us to be able to establish that connection from local entrepreneurs to the customers/clients throughout the local community. And here's what we want to do:

1 We will build a website with the domain name: kukulocals.ph

We will establish a fully-secured domain that will last for at least 1-10 years, and moving forward after that, our team will be the one to take care of the website expenses without using any donations.

2 We will develop an Android/IOS Smartphone Application for better experience and more convenience for both the entrepreneurs and the customers/clients.

Establishing an Smartphone App needs a lot of maintenance and workforce, hence, we really need the money to pay the developer(s) to maintain the quality and security of the app itself specially that we will also have that feature to pay online, COD, or through bank-to-bank transfers.

3 We want to deliver! (Exclusive for deliverable products only)

I do see logistics as one of the significant features of a business. It provides convenience to the customers specially if they want the product to be delivered as soon as possible on a certain location. Entrepreneurs will pay to have this feature as a part of their service(s).

So how will this work?

Let's start on the Entrepreneur's/Seller's side:

They have the product on-hand, a customer ordered the product and prefers it to be delivered and not to meet-up with the seller. The seller doesn't have a convenient mode of transportation to deliver the product hence he wants our Logistics (KUKULOCALS.PH) to deliver the product but he needs to pay for certain logistic fees to which the seller can either add-on on the buyer's amount to pay.

Now on the buyer's/customer's side:

They ordered online, wants it to be delivered instead of meeting up with the seller. Our logistics team arrives at the location. Customer pays extra for the delivery fee upon agreement with the seller .

Note: This "Delivery" feature will be in a process of improvement so the sample scenarios shown above is just a mere example of the process, but still is subject to change.

4 Rent an Office for the KUKULOCALS HQ
Printers, Computers and other Office Equipments will be funded using the donations collected

How will the company be able to produce income?

•kukulocals.ph will be open for every local entrepreneurs to show/exhibit/sell their products to the local community. The sellers become a certified member of ours and will be eligible to sell/exhibit/advertise their products and services via a recurring online seller-eligibilty membership subscription and other account upgrades.

The subscription/registration fee is Php 199.00/Month (30 Days Free Trial) (Value-Added Subcriptions may be available soon)

The collected funds will be used for website maintenance, smartphone application maintenance/security & feature updates, headquarters/office expenses and other expenses that will be used to maintain the quality of improvement of the company and the company's services itself.

Now, I know this might be a very ambitious project, but knowing that this could become huge someday, that everyone can take part of this project, that sooner most of the Entrepreneurs will rely mostly on our website to sell their products, to showcase their exhibits and offer their services to hundreds of potential customers/clients, is an exciting journey to fonder.
