Liz’s Journey Continues…

Liz’s journey began April 1, 2014 with an x-ray. She was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung cancer shortly after. Since that time, Liz has undergone 2 major surgeries (removal of part of one lung, and tumours removed from her head). She has gone through numerous chemo treatments as well as radiation. There is still one more tumour on her Adrenal gland (decision on treatment is pending). Her journey is not over.

Liz has been very courageous during this battle, but her fight has also turned to financial. She has been off work for 8 months, receiving only 50% of her wages. At this time there is no estimate of when, or if, she will be able to return to work.

Liz is a very proud woman who is struggling to continue to provide for her family. She is mother to 4 (at home).

I am a personal friend of Liz and her family (45+ years). She needs to be able to focus on her health, not stress about her finances.

Any assistance given to help ease Liz’s financial burden while she continues to battle her cancer is GREATLY appreciated.
