Living Wage

My name is Zack Robertson. I am a teachers aide at a high school working with students with special needs and a chef at night in a brewery kitchen. I have worked two jobs and attended college for more than 3 years now. I have always worked very hard to afford everything I need but over the last 6 months life has thrown curve ball after curve ball. Working as a teachers aide has been the most rewarding job I have every had but the wage is in most cases under livable.

In Illinois working as a teachers aide, janitors, secretary, or cafeteria worker the wages are based on what the state can pay the school, which isn't much. I have started this fundraiser because i have fell behind on bills through a string of auto repairs and expenses. The money I would receive will go straight to fixing my car so that I can commute to my job. its a forty minute drive to work and back everyday. I don't want to leave the school i work at and once summer starts i will be able to pick up another job to help pay for my expenses but right now i just need a little help from a friend so I can keep working. I hope I can get any help that comes my way, thank you for reading my campaign.
