Campaign Story
Livewell House is a boarding house for people above the age of 55 who, due to a variety of circumstances, cannot afford to live on their own any more or live in a Care Facility or Old Age Home. They live off a small pension, Government grant or sponsorships. The daily cost of living is ever increasing but sadly not their income and it is getting more difficult by the day to survive. We offer them a shared bedroom, bathroom, two meals a day, utilities incl, cleaning and laundry service, DSTV, transport and a live-in care giver. As you can imagine this is an enourmous ongoing venture, that is why we need help! We will be very greatfull if you could make a contribution towards our cause. Thank you for contributing! Update posted by Rothea Bernardo at 01:23 pmWe rely on local businesses like grocery stores, butchers and fruit and veg stores for donations to be able to give our tenants a proper meal twice a day. We are also actively busy with fundraising by making home made products, jams, preserves, arts and crafs etc that we sell. . . . .
