My father needs a liver transplant, I wish there could have a better option. He is a senior citizen suffers from a chronic liver disease stage 4 (Liver cirrhosis) along with "Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) ".

Almost 6 years ago, In 2013 he was diagnosed with chronic liver disease stage 4 (Liver cirrhosis). Ever since then he is on strict diet and treatment which kind of stabilized his condition until November 2019 of this year when he diagnosed with "Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC)".

A liver transplant is scheduled in Jan 2020. It is 8-10 hours of surgery to remove her diseased liver and replace it with part of a donor's.

With this donation, he will be on the road to a healthy life.

My father was unlucky with genetics or family history, not diseased by alcohol or lifestyle choices as he never touched alcohol in his lifetime.

Despite the challenges of her deteriorating health, he tirelessly has worked his job. He is honored, humble and loved by everyone he meets.

The biggest threat of having this surgery is hoping the new implanted liver will not be rejected by his own body. It is a process that will have to be monitored daily with hope that anti-rejection medications will allow this surgery to be successful.

Your help is greatly appreciated and will help my father recover with less worries and more peace of mind to concentrate on her body.

He's in for the fight for his life and we all have faith and trust in God and all of your help and prayers.

Thank you for your support in this time of need.
