Live the dream

Since I was young my dream was to one day own a resort or campground/resort.

I was married for almost 17 years and he would never entertain the idea of me being a business owner or doing anything I dreamed of achieving. I recently become a divorced mom of one child and hope to live that dream now that I am free from the control of someone else's dreams and accomplishments that benefit themselves.

I was approached recently about acquiring an abandoned golf course/resort for a VERY minimal amount, basically giving it to me if I can make something of it!! It will take some investment to get it back up to "par". There are updates that need to be made to the clubhouse/lodge area. There are currently no golf carts to be able to rent out for the course. There are minimal items that will need to be added or updated to operate. There are licenses and insurance that will need to be acquired prior to opening. I am planning to invest some money I have in savings to get it going this spring to start trying to pull some income to help offset costs of said items.

I hope to eventually add some other features to include a mini golf course, shower house for campground area, pool table or pinball machines for the lodge but without some help or additional funding these dreams are just that, dreams at the moment.
