Live music venue

We are currently hoping to open our very own Live Music Venue in the centre of Leeds. We have found the ideal venue that is required a up front years rent to secure the place. We have really noticed the large demand for All Ages or 14+ venues in Leeds for years now, struggling to always find a 14+ venue that is not Cockpit is one of the things that the live music scene needs in the city. We have alot of experience in the live music scene and have been working on our own events for 5 years now. We have worked with many bands like Marmozets, Fearless Vampire Killers, No Consequence, and have some upcoming shows booked in with Nexilva, Carcer City, The Hype Theory, and many more. Our idea is to have a fully functioning live music venue for around 400-500 capacity and a great PA system. It will feature signed and unsigned bands from all around the UK and even from around the world. Our main competition is going to be the Cockpit in Leeds, which is one of the leading venues for the live music scene, we have many advantages over the competition by having a huge database of unsigned bands that are not been given shows in the Cockpit due to not been interested. We are happy to book these bands on a ticket based payment where we can earn money from the customers on tickets and also on the bar. If we were to get the venue opened intime, we would already have events from The Hype Theory, Eat You Alive Festival 2015, Nexilva, and Fires Over Broadway. We are looking for £30,000 to help decorate and pay for the first years rent on the venue, and although we are putting our own funds in and hoping to get a business loan we are also looking at other ways to make money to help us meet our target which if we do not make fully, we are happy with whatever we can get.
