Live Music, Entertainment and Arts Venue in Savannah, GA!

Hello Everyone!

I started this campaign to help form a Live Music, Entertainment and Arts Venue in Savannah, Georgia. A space for artists to do what they love and also for tourist and locals to see an excellent live show! After weeks of research to locate a venue in the Savannah area; I was surprised at my results were so limited.

Savannah, Georgia is a large southern city with year round tourists and a estimated population of 142,772. The closest city in proximity to Savannah where a venue like this is located is either Jacksonville, FL which is 2 hours away or Atlanta which is 4 hours away. Savannah has plenty of bars and restaurants for tourists and locals to go to. My goal with this campaign is to allow musicians, entertainment performers / groups and also fine artists to have a place to showcase their talents and work. The venue will be able to be booked by those who seek space to showcase their talents. Performers will now have an opportunity to have more artistic freedom and exposure. The research I have conducted recently show that there is a very small niche of Downtown bars that are accommodating to these artists.

My partner has a successful Burlesque Revue that performs throughout Florida, South Carolina and Tennessee. Through our travels and experience with venues; it was shocking to see how behind Savannah, Georgia is in this area.

These are the first steps to a goal that will give Savannah a true, live entertainment space for artists near and far. A venue like this would not only bring a new aspect to the area; it would also boost local economy as well. Travelers will need hotel accommodations, food, souvenirs..the list goes on and on!
