My partner Allan was diagnosed with kidney cancer this June 2018. For those of you who know him, you know that he is an extraordinary human being. He is cheerful, loving, unbelievably strong and always puts his family and friends before himself. He is a loving brother, cousin, son, uncle, friend and a partner. He is need of our help and needs financial assistance for his surgery and treatment which is amounting to Php 300,000. Because of his illness, he has been unable to work and will likely not be able to return until he gets better. He does not have Health Card and with the everyday necessities of life, money is getting tighter and tighter. We all know he is a very hardworking person since he was 15 to support his family until this happened to him. It is indeed such a heartbreaking and unexpected event in our lives. We are not rich but we are happy, been struggling with our relationship and all but now blessed with a baby and we didn't even think such illness will strike him.

At first, he was only having stomach ache but then manages to ease the pain away with Diatabs and other pain killers. Week after week, he keeps experiencing severe stomach cramps and the medicine no longer works and he peed blood as if he was menstruating and unable to talk properly and can't even stand. He was rushed to the hospital because he had blood on his urine until the doctor decided to admit him in to have his vitals checked. He did Ultrasound and found that both his kidneys are with complex cyst. We have sought advice from a Nephrologist and requested for a CT Scan. After the results came in, it was shown that his right kidney however is cancerous Stage 1 or 2 and needs to be removed ASAP.

The main reason why me and our family decided to put up a fund raising for him is because we have exhausted all of our funds and resources for his checkups and laboratories as the medical bills have increased to greater cost.

Allan is one of the strongest, most selfless people I have ever known and he is always there to give his love and support or the shirt off his back to anyone that needs it. Allan also does not want to die yet as he have lots of plans for himself, his family, for me and the baby. Now, it's time that we send back some of that love and support to Allan. Anything you can donate will be truly appreciated. Everything we can do to help and surround him with love is what is most important so he can live free and ride free again on beating this thing.
