Campaign Story
Hello Everyone
I'm Zamo from South African and I'm fundraising on behalf of my baby cousin sister Zizipho (Zipho).
Zipho was born on the 25th of January 2018 with a rare condition called Tibial Hemimelia (absence of the tibia).
The incidence of this condition has been estimated to be 1 in 1 million live births, making it one of the rarest congenital lower-limb deformities seen. This condition can be "treated" by either amputation or reconstruction.
In Zipho's case, the doctors recommend amputation. The procedure needs to done within the next 2 months (seeing that she has been attempting to stand). The procedure will later be followed by a prosthetic leg fitting as well as physiotherapy so she can learn to walk using the prosthetic leg.
All the donations will assist in covering the medical costs for the amputation, prostetic leg and physiotherapy.
Please help this little baby girl to reach her full potential by donating whatever amount to reach our $4000 goal within the next two months.
