Allan and I got married in the summer of 2014. Having given ourselves a year to settle down as a happily married couple and preparing ourselves to be able to be great parents, we stumbled upon the infertility journey. We did not know that anything was wrong, until I had my second ectopic pregnancy, in the same fallopian tube. The said tube was removed and the other one was checked and we were told that it was completely blocked, so we would have to brace ourselves to go through IVF (in-vitro fertilisation). Not only were was I in pain for losing what could have been, now two beautiful souls, but now to raise money we don't have to have our dream of having our own family come to life.

We then started saving and praying for a miracle (still am), but we are now 33 years old and worried we will lose out on the age window we have been given to have a good chance for it to work. Then the worse happened, we had another ectopic pregnancy, IN THE TUBE THAT IS BLOCKED. This tube is now removed, leaving me with just my womb and ovaries. This was, for us, confirmation of good news from our gynae. We are not infertile, I have been falling pregnant every time, but had blockages in my tubes, hence all the ectopic pregnancies.

So IVF is what we hope to be able to do. We are saving as much as possible too, so any generosity would be appreciated. We just want to be parents to our own little bundle of joy.
