I am in the process of building a B&B when Covid19 hit and i was laid off work. The building is 75% completed and need assistance in exchange for accommodation in the town of Krapina just outside of Zagreb.
Krapina is home to many museum’s. The Krapina Neanderthal Museum is within walking distance and has been attracting attention of visitors. The museum works to bring us a better understanding of the Stone Age, who lived in this area 125,000 years ago. The exhibition is set up as a time machine through the history of the Universe, the Earth and Man, leading up to the present day, and lays special emphasis on the Neanderthal period. The Krapina Neanderthal Museum covers a surface area of around 1,200 m² and is one of the most modern museums in Croatia and central Europe
Muzej-old timera-presecki More than 25 years of dedicated collection and restoration of old-age vehicles has been summarised and presented to the public on 1100 square meters of exhibition space where visitors can immerse themselves in the history of motor and motoring culture. At the same time, the museum is a combination of enthusiasm and professionally done business upgrades – as a result, a unique facility specializing in automotive heritage and presentation of the history of motorcycling and motorcycling was created.
There are many other attractions in the area to entertain young and old. There are the hot springs pools and not to be missed Marija Bistrica church(Our Lady of Bistrica), Tito’s house( Tito's birthplace house has been restored and has several interesting items of his, such as old uniforms and other memorabilia from his lifetime) and Muzej Ljudevita Gaja
The B&B has various levels of accommodation including 3 complete flats and backpacker accommodation. All with separate entrances. The B&B is situated on a large property with cultivation of fresh produce. Not only do you revitalise your soul but you can enjoy locally grown produce cooked to perfection.
