My little Maggie is just 1 year and 10 months old, and she suffers from a severe Staph Intermedius infection.

Everything started with a big (40.4°C) fever, lethargy and what looked like a swollen anal gland issue.

We immediately got her to her vet, but she told us, that the anal glands are empty and does not seem to be impacted.

We went to see 5 different vets, they all came up with a different diagnosis, non of the treatment they gave her was helpful. In the meantime, Maggie was feeling more and more sick, she got to the point where she couldn`t even get on her feet. Every single lymph node on her neck got swollen (suggesting that there is an infection in her body) and the most horrific part was the massive abscess in her throat, which eventually erupted due to the Enzyme injections she got from the 6th vet, who we went to see, who could actually help us find out what the problem is.

We went through a series of medical examinations, including a biopsy, numerous blood counts and 2 antibiogram tests At first the vet taught it`s Lymphoma, but when the results came back, they only suggested an infection, and it`s a tricky one, because it's resistant to most common antibiotics. As soon as we got the results we started her treatment.

Me and Maggie need your help to be able to continue her treatment (which could take up to a few months).

The medical examinations already put us badly in a debt, as I couldn`t afford them, and now even her treatment is much more expensive than I can afford from my little Romanian salary.

We are really really thankful for your help!
