Lithium batteries for Africa manufactor locally

As electricity are become more unstable in South Africa, alternative energy sources is the only way forward. Luckily South Africa and its neighbors have plenty of sun. With that deep cycle batteries is not efficient for a normal household power needs. With current battery technology the most efficient batteries is lithium. Unfortunately they are very expensive and far out of reach of the normal South African or African household. My mission is to start manufacturing in South Africa as importing the finished product from China is very expensive due to shipping. Plan is to get batteries that is already readily available and get a do it yourself system together. System will be plug and play method where client can build up his battery system in stages as finances allows.
